HR Professional | Contract

Description

These assignments are ideal for experienced professionals who can quickly adapt, uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity, and thrive in a fast-paced, public sector setting.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment services for temporary and permanent positions (job postings, shortlisting, interviews, onboarding, and offboarding)
  • Provide frontline advice on employee relations, HR policies, and performance management issues
  • Manage employee benefits, including pension enrollments and payroll coordination
  • Maintain job descriptions and organizational charts
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and welfare initiatives
  • Coordinate training and support performance management processes
  • Prepare monthly HR reports (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, promotions)
  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support, ensuring alignment with public sector HR frameworks and legislation

What you’ll ideally bring

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with 3–5 years of HR experience or
    • Associate’s degree with 5–8 years of HR experience
  • Expertise in recruitment, performance management, and employee relations
  • In-depth knowledge of HR legislation and public sector frameworks (e.g., PSMA, Personnel Regulations, Police Act)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS, and MyVista systems
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with professionalism and discretion

It would be amazing if you have:

  • Experience working within the Cayman Islands Government or other public sector HR frameworks
  • At least one candidate must have specialized experience in payroll and benefits administration
