Automation Engineer

Department: Business Improvement / Finance
  
Responsibilities:

• Support a major automation and business improvement initiative.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to streamline manual processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement automated tools and scripts to support business readiness and transformation goals.
• Create and maintain advanced Excel tools, including macros and VBA scripts.
• Assist in coding and system integration tasks, ideally using C# or other relevant technologies.
• Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and contribute to solution design.

  
Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Developer, ideally within business automation or transformation projects.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced macros and VBA.
• Hands-on experience with C# or similar programming languages (e.g., .NET).
• Solid understanding of business process improvement and automation best practices.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with finance and operational teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a contract setting.
