Construction Program Lead

Description

A senior leadership opportunity is available for an experienced construction and real estate development professional to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential projects. This role is responsible for directing initiatives from initial feasibility through to final delivery, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and on-time execution.

Responsibilties:

• Lead end-to-end development projects, from initial feasibility studies and site assessments through to construction and final delivery.
• Evaluate potential development sites, conducting financial and regulatory due diligence to support investment decisions.
• Prepare detailed business cases and development proposals for executive and board-level approval.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and milestones using structured project management tools and practices.
• Oversee coordination between architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design and construction meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure service providers perform to agreed standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, enforce quality controls, and troubleshoot issues.
• Engage with stakeholders, including regulators, investors, consultants, and community partners
• Identify and manage risks across all phases of development
• Provide executive updates and reports, tracking project performance against key metrics and strategic goals.
• Mentor and lead cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• Degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Engineering, or a comparable field
• 10+ years experience in real estate development, construction management, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated success delivering complex, large-scale developments
• Expertise in contract management, permitting, and regulatory frameworks
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Proficient in project management platforms (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Asana)
