Application Developer
Description
Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to transform business needs into functional applications using a low code platform (e.g., Mendix, OutSystems, etc.)
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and ensure smooth deployment into production
- Leverage APIs and reusable microservices to build robust, modular applications
- Review and enhance code quality through peer reviews and collaborative design discussions
- Contribute to architectural decisions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies
- Identify opportunities for process automation and improved business workflows
- Conduct debugging and troubleshooting of live applications as required
- Document technical processes, system configurations, and user guides as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or similar, ideally in a STEM discipline) or equivalent experience
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform, is highly desirable
- Expertise in at least one server-side language, ideally C#
- Proven expertise in Web and RESTful API development
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Angular
- Practical experience in SQL and ORM tools like Entity Framework
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using YAML
- Knowledge of cloud services, ideally Azure
- Knowledge of microservices and event-driven design
