Finance Systems Analyst
Description
Overview:
We’re looking for a technically skilled Finance Systems Analyst to support and enhance core financial applications, with a strong focus on Aderant and surrounding systems. This role involves advanced support, systems development, and process improvement within a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 3rd-line application support for financial systems, ensuring stability and performance.
- Lead system enhancements, upgrades, and module development across Aderant and related tools.
- Develop and maintain custom integrations, database programming, and reports using SQL and C#.
- Work within Agile teams to deliver scalable, well-documented solutions that meet business needs.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve system issues; reduce escalations through documentation and training.
- Proactively suggest and implement system improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Monitor, prioritize, and respond to service tickets; track against KPIs and service expectations.
- Collaborate on new product releases, test plans, and future system roadmap planning.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and handover guides.
- Adhere to secure coding and CI/CD pipeline standards, and contribute to DevOps practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA) or strong finance domain knowledge.
- Proven experience with Aderant Expert suite (Classic and Framework tools) — minimum 3 years.
- Familiarity with Concur and reporting platforms; experience with CreditForce is a plus.
- Strong command of SQL, C#, and API integrations (RESTful).
- Experience in Agile environments and using Azure DevOps for task and code management.
- Solid understanding of ERP systems, particularly in cloud migration or transformation contexts.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with version control systems and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
