Financial Accountant

On behalf of our client a highly regarded multinational Financial Services Organisation we are actively seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Cashel, Co. Tipperary based team.  This is a new and exciting role within their finance team that has arisen due to the growth and success of the company.
  
Duties;

• Ensuring the timely delivery of accurate monthly/quarterly management and statutory financial information
• Responsible for the accurate bookkeeping of entities under responsibility, including the maintenance of supporting accounting schedules such as fixed assets, prepaids and accruals.
• Preparation of the financial statements and supporting workbook for the annual audit and key liaison with auditors
• Preparation and filing of corporation tax & vat returns and regulatory reporting information
• Liaising with colleagues across the group, ensuring effective collaboration, communication and development of solutions
• Assisting in ad-hoc project requirements as required by the Financial Controller
• Coaching and mentoring of members of the Finance Team

Requirements;

• Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc.)
• Degree in Business related field
• Previous experience in an accounting function
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
