Director & Appointment Taker, Insolvency

SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client to assist them in sourcing a Director and Appointment Taker to join their Insolvency team.

The Director and Appointment Taker will accept appointments as join voluntary liquidator and steer clients through the liquidation process from decision to dissolution which will include coordinating all relevant filings, final general meetings, and correspondence with regulatory and administrative bodies. The role includes developing and managing a relationship with Legal Fee Earners, Corporate Administrators, and external clients. The Director will be expected to continuously review the changing market requirements and service improvements while successfully achieving income targets and filing deadlines.

We are looking for a self-driven and confident individual who I swilling to take on responsibility while remaining resilient under pressure. The role requires a strong client service mentality with extensive technical skills in the relevant service delivery. The candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of the Cayman Islands liquidation processes pertaining to all types of legal entity, including experience with resolving issues as they may arise throughout the processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaborative skills, and interpersonal skills are required for this role.

Requirements:

  • A Qualified Accountant with an ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior role within a specialized liquidation services team
  • Good understanding of LEAN /Six Sigma and/or general continuous improvement tools, ideally with a relevant accreditation
