Schools out for the summer!!
School’s out for summer! Massive cheers from the kids, huge sighs from the parents.
Keeping the kids entertained over the summer holidays need not be a chore, thanks to the fun and informative summer camps that Camana Bay are holding this year:
* Do you have a budding musician in the making? Why not enroll your child in Music Camp at the Cayman Music School. Running from the 29th June to the 31st July (Mon-Fri) the kids will be able to get involved in all sorts of musical based activities, including karaoke! The cost is CI$50 per day or CI$200 per week (5 days). For children ages 5 – 12.
* More into cooking than music? Bon Vivant in Camana Bay hosts a summer culinary camp for up and coming chefs! Running from the 7th to the 10th July, the kids will get to learn how to make local dishes such as island patties and yummy ice cream sandwiches! The cost for chef’s camp is CI$40 per class and is for children ages 4 – 12.
* For the sportier of children, Camana Bay are running a general multisport camp with three different week options. A great way for the kids to keep active over the summer, make new friends or simply try out a new sport! Activities include volleyball, football and tennis to name but a few. The cost varies from CI$125 to CI$150 depending on the week and is available for children ages 6 – 14.
* The ever in demand Basketball camp is back and running from the 27th July to the 31st July with a very special guest from the NBA! For children 7 – 17, costs CI$150 per child.
In addition to the wonderful camps offered above, the outdoor cinema is back running every Tuesday in July and August, starting at 7pm. A perfect (and free!) activity that all the family can enjoy together. So pack up a picnic and blanket, and enjoy fantastic family movies, such as Despicable Me 2 under the stars!
