SteppingStones is working alongside our client to assist them in sourcing an experienced Accountant to join their Cayman team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and posting accounting journals, preparing monthly financial statements, and preparing bank reconciliations. The role also includes assisting with the collation and parathion of regulatory documents, managing inter-office transactions and payments, and assisting with the annual budget process. Other responsibilities include ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures and liaising with auditors to complete the audited financial statements.
We are looking for a candidate who has strong communication and organizational skills and has an enthusiastic, team-oriented attitude. The candidate must be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and have advanced Excel skills. This role requires the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast paced environment while demonstrating a meticulous attention to detail.
- A recognized professional accounting designation (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA)
- 3+ years of post qualification experience
- Law firm experience desirable
