Accountant
Description
My client, a local organization is looking for a Qualified Accountant to manage all accounting duties for their subsidiaries.
We are looking for someone who has experience in and is able to take on the below duties:
- Manage all quarterly and monthly reporting requirement within time frames
- Manage and maintain financial systems ensuring accurate accounting records and reports
- Manage the cash flows and cash balance requirements
- Manage & evaluate internal financial controls and processes and provide recommendations for improvement
- Prepare and process payroll
- Oversee accounts payable
- Manage inter-company allocations
- Finalize year end accounts, prepare the annual audit pack and draft of annual financial statements
- Prepare regulatory filings within required deadlines
- Investment appraisals as required by the Managing Director
- Annual budget preparation and submission and completion of monthly budget to actual variance analysis with corresponding narrative
- Data analysis and KPI reporting
- Communicating with external parties, e.g. bankers and creditors, auditors, regulator
- Present financial performance to Board of Directors
You must have:
- 5+ years accounting experience in a professional environment
- Minimum of 4 years management experience essential
- Experience in working with multiple legal entities under one umbrella
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is essential and with exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- A demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and tight deadlines
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Qualified CA or CPA
- Membership of an internationally recognized professional accountancy body (CA, ACCA, CPA) is essential
