Accountant - Temporary

Description

We are actively recruiting for an immediately available Accountant to assist our client through a busy time and assist with their ongoing growth. This role is working with one of our key clients who are part of the public sector. 

This role is temporary opportunity for bout 3-4 months and does have the opportunity to become a Permanent job in the future. 

The successful candidate must hold an accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA) and have 3-5 years previous experience. In addition, you must be a Quickbooks expert. 

Responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to; 

• Preparing monthly financial statements 
• Daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations
• Review all accounts receivables
• Carry out balance sheet analysis 
• Enter bills into Quickbooks 
• Supervise one individual and review all their work 
• Review accounts payables 
• Assist with specific ad-hoc projects 
• Cover Accounts Officer as and when needed 

This role is open to both on-island work permit holders and Caymanians or those with the right to work on-island.
