Accounting Assistant

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various financial tasks, including processing payments, invoices, and reconciliations. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and post customer payments to their accounts on a daily basis.
  • Handle accounts payable activities, such as creating requisitions, purchase orders, and processing vendor invoices and credits.
  • Manage accounts receivable tasks, including daily billing, monthly invoicing, rebates, and credits.
  • Support the finance team with month-end closing procedures and other related tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to processes.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial role utilizing accounting software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • A safety-conscious approach to work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range between $36,000 and $50,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Company covers 80% of Premier Health Insurance.
