Accounting Assistant
Description
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various financial tasks, including processing payments, invoices, and reconciliations. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and post customer payments to their accounts on a daily basis.
- Handle accounts payable activities, such as creating requisitions, purchase orders, and processing vendor invoices and credits.
- Manage accounts receivable tasks, including daily billing, monthly invoicing, rebates, and credits.
- Support the finance team with month-end closing procedures and other related tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to processes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial role utilizing accounting software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- A safety-conscious approach to work.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range between $36,000 and $50,000, commensurate with experience.
