Accounting Assistant
Description
Our client is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Assure timely collection of monies due to company including notices and reminders to delinquent customers
- Maintain receivables ledgers by posting account transactions in a timely manner
- Monitor and report on balances and on deviations from credit agreement with customers
- Generate invoices and dispatch to customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Process monthly recurring revenue activities
- Compute and record interest charges on overdue accounts where applicable
- Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits
- Assist in monthly and fiscal year end physical inventory count
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Must have 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented and organized
