Accounting Assistant - Temporary

Description

Our client is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their growing team!

Responsibilities: 

  • Assure timely collection of monies due to company including notices and reminders to delinquent customers
  • Maintain receivables ledgers by posting account transactions in a timely manner
  • Monitor and report on balances and on deviations from credit agreement with customers
  • Generate invoices and dispatch to customers in a timely and accurate manner
  • Process monthly recurring revenue activities 
  • Compute and record interest charges on overdue accounts where applicable 
  • Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits
  • Assist in monthly and fiscal year end physical inventory count

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or higher 
  • Must have 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Must be reliable, detail-oriented and organized
