SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client, a leading local insurance provider, to assist them in sourcing an Accounts Assistant to join their busy Finance team.
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting in accurately processing and managing the daily transactions of the company. This will include, processing receipts and bank deposits, claims payment processing, and managing the accounts receivables and payables.
We are looking for a candidate with excellent numeracy skills that is accurate and detail oriented. The ideal candidate will be a strong multi-tasker and have excellent organization skills. Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required and any knowledge of Microsoft Dynamic GP accounting software or a similar software would be considered an asset.
- An Associate degree in Accounting
- 1+ year of accounts experience
