Are you detail-oriented and experienced with daily cash reconciliation? Our client, a well-established service and retail business, is seeking a Cash Reconciliation Clerk to support their finance function on a short-term basis. This role is ideal for someone with a background in bookkeeping or accounting support who is ready to hit the ground running.
You must be:
- Currently based in the Cayman Islands
- Immediately available
- Legally able to work in the Cayman Islands without sponsorship
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cash and card reconciliation across invoicing, bank, and point-of-sale systems
- Reconcile cash registers and prepare reports
- Investigate and flag any discrepancies
- Assist with returns, reimbursements, and file uploads
- Liaise with management to resolve queries or escalate concerns
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounts clerk, or similar role
- Familiarity with cloud-based accounting platforms
- Good knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP and similar functions)
- Comfortable working with CSV files, internet banking systems, and POS data
- Highly organised, reliable, and discreet
