Billing Assistant

Our client, a well-respected law firm, is seeking a Billing Assistant to join their busy and professional finance team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring strong administrative or accounting experience, this opportunity is for you!
  
Job Duties:

  • Prepare invoices for a designated client portfolio.
  • Ensure all invoices are produced in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ensure client billing information is accurately recorded and maintained to ensure that accuracy of invoices raised.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual and bi-annual billing.
  • Prepare consolidated statements summarizing outstanding balances for key clients.
  • Liaise internally to progress any billing related queries from other departments.
  • Manage the Finance mailbox, ensuring billing requests are prioritized and addressed promptly.
  • Regular exception reporting to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the billing data.

 Requirements:

  •  3+ years administrative and/or accounting experience within a corporate service provider or financial industry is required.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
  •  Ability to multi-task, handle volume, coordinate, and manage time effectively.
  •  Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
  •  High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  •  Working knowledge of Viewpoint software, Oracle and SSRS reporting.
  •  Working knowledge of E-billing portals such as CounselLink, Legal Tracker, TyMetrix, CounselGO and Collaboration.
