Bookkeeper - Contract

Description

On behalf of our client, we are actively looking for a junior Bookkeeper.

Candidates must have at least 1-2 years experience in a similar role and be immediately available to start a new position. 
 
Duties and responsibilities include; 

  • Carrying out A/R, A/P and reconciliations in Quickbooks 
  • Prepare and process bills 
  • Carry out online banking 
  • Carry out various errands as needed 
  • Assist with the administration of payroll
  • Management of file system and filing

The successful candidate must have;

  • Microsoft office skills (excel, word and outlook)
  • Accounting or Bookkeeping qualification will be an asset 
  • The ability to work unsupervised at times and have strong customer service skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and be well organized
  • Ideally some Quickbooks experience
