Caribbean HR Manager & Cayman Practice Manager

On behalf of our client a well known and highly reputable professional services firm, we are actively seeking a Caribbean HR & Practice Manager to join their forward-thinking team. As HR Manager & Practice Manger you will play a significant role in providing expert advice, guidance and consultancy services.  This is an excellent opportunity to support and drive the organization’s vision forward in this complex and diverse role.
  
Duties;

  • Providing expert HR advice to Partners and Senior employees
  • Support and Drive the Firm’s Vision
  • Full Accountability for leading people related projects
  • Interpret data to predict and address challenges and work collaboratively with Partners in respect of a succession planning and talent management process
  • Lead the HR team in annual business planning, performance management, salary and bonus processes
  • Support the HR Director in identifying talent
  • Ensure an accurate, compliant and efficient immigration process
  • Ensure an accurate Payroll service for the Caribbean is maintained and have final sign off each month on Payroll submissions
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure that quality recruits are selected and introduced to the business in a seamless manner
  • Responsible for ensuring that all management policies and procedures are compliant with best practice globally, and employment legislation locally
  • Responsible for Health Insurance contract renewal
  • Determine, allocate and monitor the HR budget and the Cayman Operations budget
  • Responsible for Business Continuity Planning for the Cayman Office

  
Requirements;

  • 10 years’ minimum experience in general management and HR management
  • Experience working with Senior Managers and Directors
  • Proven track record in management and delivering HR support to a medium/ large business
  • Creative and innovative approach to presenting proposals to drive employee engagement, culture and positive business outcomes
  • Confident organized with the ability to hold difficult conversations
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
