SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client to assist them in sourcing a Clean Energy & Sustainability Analyst to join their growing team.

Our client is looking to further their investments in green energy and sustainable practices and is actively recruiting an analyst to research and identify potential acquisitions and market trends. The Clean Energy & Sustainability Analyst will be responsible for conducting research on renewable energy technology and trends globally. The role includes preparing and delivering presentations and project recommendations to the management team and as such will require the candidate to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, deductive and inductive reasoning, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous attention to detail and a good balance of strong team orientation with the ability to work independently on projects and initiatives. Technological proficiency with experience using the Microsoft Office Suite is a must.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Commerce, Finance, Accounting or similar
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in the Renewable Energy industry or in an analytical, strategic or business consulting role
• Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and a business mindset
