Compliance Manager

SteppingStones is working alongside our client to assist them in sourcing an experienced Compliance Manager to join their Cayman team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the company’s compliance with law, regulations, and internal policies while keeping up to date with and understanding all relevant laws and regulations. The role includes developing and implementing AML/AEOI compliance improvement plans and will include FATCA, CRS, and Beneficial Ownership obligations. The candidate will act as the DMLRO and liaise with CIIPA and any other regulatory bodies as needed. Other responsibilities include educating employees on compliance and delivering AML training programmes and reviewing and managing KYC/AEOI due diligence.

We are looking for a candidate who has experience working within compliance in the legal, consulting, banking, or other financial industry. The ideal candidate will be a team player that is able to work independently. The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

Requirements:

• A university diploma in a related field
• A compliance qualification (CAMS or ICA)
• 5+ years of relevant experience with managerial experience
• Knowledge of AML/AEOI laws and regulations in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands
