Dietitian

Description

SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client, a leading on-island healthcare provider, to assist them in sourcing a Dietitian to join their team. 

The Dietitian is responsible for the provision of dietetic and nutritional services to patients in order to optimize nutritional intake, promote overall and well-being and decrease risk of comorbidities. 

In this role the Dietitian will conducti nutrition assessment, implement nutrition plans, and provide nutrition counselling. The Dietitian will also develop patient education materials, develop departmental forms, and provide presentations to community groups. 

We are looking for a candidate with a comprehensive knowledge of dietetic services, practice methods, professional skills, nutritional principles and dietary strategies. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The role requires proficiency and in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Publisher and a working knowledge of computer software.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in nutrition – Master’s Degree in Nutrition or Health Sciences preferred 
• 5+ years of experience working as a dietitian 
• Registered dietitian in good standing with Cayman Islands Health Practice Commission
