The Captive Insurance & Reinsurance markets are thriving in Cayman and our client is looking to hire at Director level to support their continued expansion. The firm is one of the island’s premier organizations and has a rich & successful history in Cayman. 

The Director will be a strategic business leader both on the client side and internally with the growth of the Cayman office. The successful candidate will take the lead on areas such as budgeting, BD, operations, risk, governance and compliance.

The key duties will cover areas such as underwriting, pricing support, administration of a captive and reinsurance portfolio, business development,  board reporting (client and internal), high-level operation, and supporting the relevant teams on complex financial transactions & acquisitions.

Requirements:

• ACII Qualified or similar 
• Senior Management experience in a global insurance organization
• Working knowledge of major insurance/reinsurance classes  
• Previous Cayman or Bermuda experience is high advantageous
