Finance and FP&A Director, Private Equity

SteppingStones has partnered with a leading global financial services organization to assist them in sourcing a senior finance professional to lead the Accounting and Administration side of their Private Equity business here in Cayman. 

The role will lead a small team and report directly into the global CFO. You will be responsible for the FP&A and Accounting for a complex multi-billion dollar fund structure and will provide all necessary management reporting and analysis on fund performance. You will deliver this information to internal / external stakeholders, investment managers and the companies Board of Directors. 

The role will also head up the firms fund administration arm and any prior fund administration experience would be well received – please note though that the key duties will be primarily finance related.

Requirements:

• Prior C Suite Finance experience with extensive prior FP&A knowledge 
• A detailed understanding of the regulation in Cayman as it relates to the Fund industry 
• Prior working experience in the Private Equity space is highly desirable 
• Successful applicants must be confident reporting at board level and be clearly able to break down the financial figures as they relate to fund performance 
• A professional accounting designation is preferred
