Economic Substance Professional

SteppingStones is working alongside our client to assist them in sourcing an Economic Substance Professional to join their Cayman team.

The successful candidate will service and maintain relationships for a portfolio of clients while providing administrative support to the Directors. The candidate will be responsible for governance support functions that includes database management, Document Execution Form workflow for client transactions, key regulatory projects, and other support for quality client service delivery.

We are looking for a candidate who has a strong working knowledge of fund structures, fund documentation, and regulatory requirements. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that will include reporting and providing support to various members of a large team and diverse client portfolio. This role requires excellent time management, organizational skills, and a meticulous attention to detail. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree or international recognized professional qualification
• A firm knowledge of Cayman Islands Mutual Funds law and legal concepts
• Corporate secretarial, legal secretarial or paralegal experience preferred
