Estates and Procurement Officer

Description

Our client, the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS), is seeking two qualified Caymanian or PR (without restrictions) candidates for a 3-month temporary assignment as Estates & Procurement Officers, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support complex property and facilities projects, including acquisitions and improvements.
  • Oversee procurement processes, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost control.
  • Prepare tenders, contracts, and reports, and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
  • Track budgets, review invoices, and ensure timely payments.
  • Analyse and improve procurement processes for efficiency and compliance.

Key Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in Project Management and Procurement (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong negotiation, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement platforms (e.g., Bonfire).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, or related field with 3 years’ experience, OR Associate’s Degree with 5 years’ experience.
