Finance Systems Analyst

Description

Our client is currently going through a major financial transformation, moving to an Oracle based ERP system, with additional conflict checking, on boarding and cloud-based systems. They require a competent Finance Systems Analyst to provide operational support and development of their Financial Applications systems. The successful candidate will be involved in forward planning future upgrades, developing and testing new product & releases as well as pro actively identifying areas of service risk.
Key Responsibilities Include:

• Contribute to the implementation of new products/services and there on-going maintenance and enhancement as well as contributing to the removal of legacy products and services.
• Monitor and respond to support requests/issues escalated by the Service Desk from end-users.
• Be accountable for meeting core service related KPI’s and metrics in addition to identifying priority support cases and communicating timelines to the business.
• Reduce escalation of issues through documentation and ensure customer service levels and expectations are met.
• Diagnose and resolve software defects and work closely with Engineering teams to manage escalated tickets through to a successful resolution.

Key Skills/Experience:

• A technical mindset with a strong knowledge of ERP applications.
• An understanding of development methods including C# and SQL.
• Experience using source/version control software – TFS or Azure DevOps would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with web debugging such as Fiddler or Browser based tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to identify issue, investigate and resolve problems.
• Knowledge of and experience working in professional services environments or partnerships.
