Financial Administrator

Description

On behalf of our client a highly regarded multinational Financial Services Organisation we are actively seeking a Financial Administrator to join their Cashel, Co. Tipperary based team.  This is a new and exciting role within their finance team that has arisen due to the growth and success of the company.
  
Duties;

  • Helps with a variety of financial functions, including financial control and compliance, management reporting, financial planning and analysis, profit improvement plans and working capital/cash management for each business unit.
  • Extracts and interprets general ledger information on ad hoc basis
  • Oversees the credit card process and weekly bank reconciliations of all accounts
  • Carrying out financial recording and monitoring of assets
  • Responsible for the fixed assets within the financial statements
  • Oversees the payables process (AP)
  • Main point of contact for treasury activities and helps maintain the daily banking relationship
  • Ensures the group cash position is updated monthly

Requirements;

  • Degree in Business related field
  • Previous experience in financial services and within a payables function
  • Ability to manage own work load with minimal oversight
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Ability to adapt to new accounting software
