Food Service Sales Representative

Description

On behalf of our client, a locally owned and operated company which has been established on island over 20 years, we are actively searching for a Food Service Sales Representative to join their team. 

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Develop sales opportunities
• Schedule and carry out weekly sales calls with existing customers 
• Support client chefs with preparing meus and recipes and sourcing ingredients as appropriate
• Prepare reports 
• Source special order items and determine costs and delivery timescales 
• Liaise directly with the Purchasing department
• Product sampling and reviews 
• Additional duties as required 

Experience you need: 

• At least 5 years experience working in the Food Service industry, ideally within restaurant sales 
• Extensive knowledge of Food Service products, grocery items and disposable products 
• Exposure to the Caribbean Market and cuisine is a must 
• Exceptional Word and Excel skills 
• Must be able to drive and have a valid drivers license 
• Ability to work Saturdays and overtime 

Salary and benefits:

• CI$40,000 – CI$45,000 
• Attractive compensation and benefits package including medical, pension and vacation in line with Cayman Islands Labour Law 

Please note this role is open to on-island and off-island candidates as our client is willing to relocate the successful candidate if necessary
