Fund Account Manager - Temporary

SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client to assist them in sourcing a Fund Account Manager to join their team on a temporary basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounting records, maintaining the register of investors and statutory records, and performing regular fund net asset value calculations for a portfolio of funds. The role will also include day-to-day general administrative and compliance related duties and ensuring that all fees are invoiced and collected on a timely basis. As the Fund Account Manager, the successful candidate will also be expected to mentor and motivate junior staff members that report to them.

We are looking for a candidate who is fully conversant with all aspects of Fund Accounting and Administration. The candidate should be familiar with both US and IAS GAAP and all significant provisions of the Cayman Islands Mutual Funds Law. It is expected that the candidate will be knowledgeable of the investment fund industry, securities, and complex financial instruments. The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as technological proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Any experience with MFACT and Mshare would be considered an asset.

Requirements:

• An internationally recognized professional accounting qualification
• 5+ years of PQE and Fund Accounting experience
