Fund Accountant

SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client to assist them in sourcing a Fund Accountant to join their Cayman based family office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the accounting, recording and administration of several complex investment and operation companies.

We are looking for a candidate who has extensive knowledge of accounting for securities in developed and emerging markets. The candidate should also possess knowledge regarding the settlement and recording of equities, bonds, forward currency contract options, futures, swaps, derivatives, repos, reverse repos, and a variety of alternative investments. Previous experience in preparing financial statements and liaising with internal/external auditors, directors and management is a must. The role also requires experience with Microsoft Office and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Any experience with QuickBooks would be considered an asset.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • A professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA)
  • 3+ years PQE as a client, fund accountant or Auditor with a trust company, fund administrator or professional accounting firm.
