Fund Accountant

Description

Due to significant growth, SteppingStones are actively seeking applicants for a fast-paced team who provide a comprehensive range of financial services.

Responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance of accounting records and preparation of net asset value calculations, financial statements and annual audit files
• Liaison with investment managers, auditors and other service providers
• Other administrative functions relating to the funds
• Assist with audits both internal and external
• Other day to day administrative activities related to (mutual) funds

The successful candidate will be required to possess the following:

• University graduate with a recognised professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA) and at least 4 years’ experience in the offshore fund industry
• Experience in the preparation of financial statements
• Willing to work overtime to meet tight reporting deadlines
• Possess initiative and be a team player
• Excellent communication skills
