Global Head of Applications Support

SteppingStones are currently partnering with a long-standing client to assist with their search for a new Global Head of Applications Support. Reporting into the Global Technology Services Director and working alongside various department heads, you will be primarily responsible for deploying, managing and maintaining the IT Applications portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a global technology team of Application Analysts/Managers and Database Analysts.
- Work with the PMO and Digital Delivery team to ensure that all software solutions are planned, implemented and maintained to the highest standard.
- Develop and oversee policies/procedures for systems design and delivery including the management of service levels, performance, availability and capacity.
- Set and execute strategic initiatives whilst collaborating with other IT leaders to optimize, support and secure the firm’s systems.
- Negotiate with vendors to ensure that the return on technology investment is maximized.
Required Experience:
- Min 15 years’ experience including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive background in managing multi-disciplined technology professionals within a professional services environment.
- Thorough understanding of the ITIL framework and ITSM best practices.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture and integration principles.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps and knowledge of Aderant would be hugely beneficial.
