Hospice & Palliative Nurse Specialist - Cayman Islands

On behalf of our client, we are actively looking Hospice & Palliative Nurse Specialist to join their team. If you are committed to providing intervention and prevention services for hospice patients, then this is the ideal job for you!
  
Responsibilities include;

• Managing care of patients with specialist palliative care needs
• Delivering, monitoring and reviewing the care of patients and families
• Improving quality of life for both the patient and the family
• Supporting family caregivers and providing practical support
• identifying areas for improvement which will enhance the palliative care provision for patients
• Undertaking bereavement follow-up

Knowledge and Experience;

• Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of The Cayman Islands NMC
• Minimum of two years relevant experience
• Proven track record of experience working in hospices
• Knowledge of the holistic approach toward patient care
• Well-versed in psychosocial and holistic care
• Able to prioritize work load and pressure
• Ability to use good judgment and to maintain confidentiality of information
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
