HR Assistant

Description

This role supports the HR team by managing a wide range of administrative tasks, including immigration requirements, employee onboarding and offboarding, and maintaining HR records. 

What you’ll do

  • Administer and monitor all Immigration requirements, including permit applications and anniversary payments.
  • Support new hires through the work permit process, ensuring all documentation is prepared for submission.
  • Escalate and address any Immigration issues with Management and liaise with Immigration authorities.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and liaising with applicants.
  • Manage the HR inbox and respond to employee queries.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and employment records using BambooHR.
  • Administer onboarding and offboarding processes, including travel arrangements and benefits enrollment.
  • Conduct periodic audits of HR files to ensure compliance.

What you’ll bring

  • High School Diploma or pursuing an Associate Degree.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR administrative role.
  • Knowledge of Cayman Islands Immigration and employment laws.
  • CISHRP Certificate in HR Management and experience with HRIS (e.g., BambooHR) is a plus.
  • Valid Cayman Islands driver’s license.
  • High level of confidentiality, strong communication, and organizational skills.
