HR Associate

Description

SteppingStones is working alongside our client, a dynamic human resources team, to assist them in sourcing an energetic, driven, and passionate HR Associate to join their team. 

The HR Associate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining employee records
  • Maintaining accurate records of job openings and received applications, managing job postings, reviewing applications, and scheduling preliminary interviews
  • Performing administrative recordkeeping tasks
  • Assisting with the administration of employee benefits 
  • Preparing work permits
  • Supporting new hire orientation and drafting employment contracts
  • Assisting with data entry tasks 
  • Assisting with time tracking and client billing
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of special events 

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR role
  • Must have a solid understanding of Cayman labour related laws
  • CISHRP, SHRM, or CIPD qualification preferred 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to type at least 40 wpm
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and use of own vehicle
