Human Resources Manager

SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client a prominent local insurance provider to assist them in sourcing a Human Resources Manager.

The successful candidate will assist senior management in solving employment related issues and matters as they arise. The role will include managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development and talent management. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the general welfare of all employees.

We are looking for a candidate who has strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills. The candidate should be technologically proficient and should be familiar with HR systems and able to use Microsoft Office applications. The role includes database and employee records management so attention to detail and organization are a must. Due to the nature of this role the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline
  • 5+ year’s management experience
  • Knowledge of HR related laws, policies, and regulations
