SteppingStones is working alongside a leading local insurance provider to assist them in sourcing an Insurance Underwriting Supervisor to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily supervision of their unit and will assist in the evaluation and pricing of insurance prospects. We are looking for a candidate who has strong analytical skills as the role includes obtaining and analyzing specific account information. Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access are required. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and will possess exceptional organizational skills. A professional certification through LOMA or HIA in life or health insurance would be considered an asset.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
• 3+ years of mid-to-high level underwriting experience
• Strong knowledge of underwriting principles and processes
