IT Project Manager

Description

SteppingStones are delighted to be working with a market leading Client in the Cayman Islands who are currently looking for an IT Project Manager.

You will be responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of Infrastructure and Application projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

Core Activities, Duties and Key Tasks

• Draft project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Communicate project expectations with key stakeholders
• Set and manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones
• Estimating project costs
• Drafting budget proposals
• Determine and assess need for additional staff and/ or consultants when required
• Directly manage concurrent projects from beginning to end
• Develop project plans and associated documentation
• Identity and resolve issues, conflicts within the project team

  
Essential Skills

• University degree or diploma in computer science, software engineering or information technology
• PMP / Prince II
• Thorough knowledge of Agile SDLC / methodology
• 5 + years’ experience in a project management capacity
• Knowledge of coding, databases, systems and infrastructure

Desirable

• Previous Legal or professional services experience
• INTAPS database experience
