IT Recruiter

Due to our continued success and subsequent growth we are looking for an energetic, dynamic and charismatic individual to join our team. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the Recruiter will deliver set financial targets through business development activities and subsequent client and candidate management. They will go the extra mile to actively contribute to the growth of the business focusing on IT recruitment in the Cayman Islands.
  
Essential Duties:

  • Assist client companies to identify suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill a variety of permanent
    staff for job vacancies including IT and other business sectors including engineering, construction management, tourism and hospitality
  • Identify, resource, interview, skills test and reference check all candidates
  • Negotiate terms of employment
  • Personally identify, negotiate and develop long term profitable relationships with key clients
  • Develop relationships with new clients and maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers
  • Provide effective and focused ongoing customer and account management/development plans to aid the
    achievement of the sales plan
  • Develop existing customers through developing closer, cross functional relationships and expanding the
    services utilized
  • Deliver personal sales targets on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
  • Advise and oversee the immigration/work permit process if applicable
  • Advise and assist with the relocation/orientation process if applicable
  • Advertise posts appropriately using a wide range of media (newspapers, websites, magazines, local radio)
  • Play an active role in enhancing SteppingStones’ social media presence
  • Organise and participate in client entertaining events, local events, trade fairs and shows, conferences etc

Person Specification – Education, Experience & Knowledge:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Ideally 3 plus years’ recruitment experience preferably in the IT sector
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of IT terminology and technology
  • Advanced communication, presentation and sales skills
  • Advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Advanced written communication skills with an ability to write articles, reports and prepare spreadsheets and
    presentations
