Trainee Accountant

Description

Our client is seeking a driven Trainee Accountant to join their team!

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or a junior candidate aspiring to grow within the accountancy industry! 

Responsibilities 

• Assist in monthly transactions
• Work closely with the Senior Accountant in special projects
• Complete new vendor due diligence and account set up 
• Assist with monthly closing procedures and other projects
• Provide cover for the Senior Accountant and Accounts Assistant 

Requirements 

• Associates degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent
• Interest in pursuing an accounting designation such as ACCA, CPA,  or similar
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite abilities 
• Knowledge of QuickBooks software preferred
• Excellent communication and organization skills
