Compliance Officer/Corporate Administrator

Description

On behalf of our client an internationally recognized financial services organization, we are actively seeking a Compliance Officer/Corporate Administrator to join their growing Cayman Islands based team.

Responsibilities include;
  

  • Develop and review company policies.
  • Ensure compliance is maintained and AML Framework in place across all relevant business areas and jurisdictions
  • Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
  • Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
  • Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risk.
  • Assess company operations to determine compliance risk.
  • Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.
  • Assistance in the administration of the institution and all other group of companies registered in the Cayman Islands
  • Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance.

  
Skills needed;

  • Degree in a business related field and a recognized compliance qualification (ACAMS, ICA etc.) is preferred
  • 3 – 5 years’ proven experience in a compliance officer role.
  • Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures within the fund industry.
  • Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail.
