Logistics Customer Service Agent

Description

SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client, a leading logistics provider on island, to assist them in sourcing a Logistics Customer Service Agent to join their team. 

As the Logistics Customer Service Agent you will be responsible for the preparation of inbound freight documents, releasing and notifying customers of freight documents, transferring manifests to Customs, assisting with customer queries, handling receipts and cash collections, processing insurance claims, and updating and managing files. 

We are looking for a candidate with strong administration and computer skill who is highly organised. The role requires a strong work ethic and self-starter attitude. The successful candidate must have experience working in shipping/brokerage/logistics. 

Requirements: 

  • 2+ years customer service related experience 
  • 2+ years working knowledge of Logistics with a shipping/brokerage background
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, holidays, and the occasional weekend if needed
