As a Marketing Events Specialist, you will oversee the planning and execution of top-tier client and internal events, playing a crucial role in our marketing endeavors. This position demands meticulous planning, adaptability, and a capacity to excel in a dynamic setting. From organizing event logistics to handling event data and communications, you’ll ensure flawless event execution while upholding impeccable standards of excellence and value.

What you’ll do

  • Create and manage event plans and budgets for both external and internal events.
  • Lead and execute events independently or in collaboration with the Marketing team and service line partners.
  • Collect, manage, and report event data, including guest lists and activity analytics.
  • Draft and distribute internal and external communications via various channels.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with vendors and venues to uphold quality standards.
  • Monitor event merchandise inventory and sourcing, ensuring timely replenishment and cost-efficiency.
  • Stay updated on merchandise promotions and competitive suppliers.
  • Perform other event marketing administrative tasks as required.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, communications, business).
  • Ideally, 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with Financial Services experience being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); experience with design software, CRM, and analytics tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of hospitality, events management, venues, and suppliers.
  • Strong campaign tracking, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods.
