Human Resources Officer – Operations Location: Grand Cayman
Salary: CI $49,800 – CI $66,984 per annum

Our client, a respected public sector organization, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer – Operations to provide vital support to a large, dynamic workforce. This role offers the opportunity to make an impact by balancing strategic HR initiatives with hands-on operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, from job postings to onboarding and exit interviews.
- Collaborate with managers to maintain accurate job descriptions and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Assist with employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and local labor laws, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives, including training programs and succession planning.
- Prepare regular HR reports and metrics to support decision-making.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or Associate’s degree with additional HR experience).
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a large or public sector organization.
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws and HR compliance.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive employee matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
