Part Time Accounts Administrator

SteppingStones is working alongside a global financial services organization to assist them in sourcing an Accounts Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate would work for 20 hours a week either 5 days a week, 4 hours a day, or 4 days a week, 5 hours a day – hours must be worked in the morning. The candidate will provide accounts administration alongside a remote team that is situated abroad. The main responsibilities will include setting up payments for suppliers for approval, reconciliation of affiliates statements, preparation of monthly and quarterly payments, and records maintenance and administration. There will also be various office administration tasks required such as purchasing office supplies, liaising with the office’s Landlord and frequent liaison with the finance team abroad and the company’s senior management team.

We are looking for a candidate who has exceptional organizational skills who is proactive, takes initiative and is able to work independently. Excellent communication skills are necessary due to the required cooperation with an overseas team.

Requirements:

  • Book-keeping experience – Sage or Quickbooks experience preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • A High School degree – any further education in Business Administration, Accounts, etc. considered an asset
