Now Hiring: Project Manager / Building Surveyor

Location: Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

The successful person will be supporting a diverse portfolio of government properties. This role offers a balanced mix of 50% on-site inspections and project supervision and 50% desk-based planning, reporting, and coordination.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead building inspections, diagnose defects, and manage both preventative and reactive maintenance programs.
  • Oversee capital works and renovation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Act as a key liaison between contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Support emergency preparedness, health and safety compliance, and long-term asset planning.
  • Provide technical advice on building performance, structural integrity, and compliance with local codes and regulations.

What You Bring:

  • Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in Building Surveying, Construction, or Building Studies.
  • 3+ years of experience in building maintenance, project management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, health and safety legislation, and facilities management practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Bonus Points For:

  • Certifications in project management or health and safety.
  • Experience with COBie or drone operations (training provided if needed).
