Purchasing Agent

Description

SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client to assist them in sourcing a Purchasing Agent to join their team. 

In this role the Purchasing Agent will be responsible for generating purchase orders for all stock requests or purchases, completing purchase orders for each supplier or customer, liaising with suppliers and the sales team, checking stock levels and ordering accordingly using local and overseas supply chains, and any other duties as needed. 

We are looking for a candidate that has 3+ years of experience in a similar role with experience in local and international supply chain. Must be computer proficient and able to use the Microsoft Office suite of applications and willing to learn new software.
