Reinsurance Underwriter
Description
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Reinsurance Underwriter to join their growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing reinsurance submissions
- Create reports documenting analysis and deal recommendations
- Attend underwriting calls and meeting with clients
- Liaise with brokers on new and renewal business
- Conduct market research on targeted lines of business and new insurance products
- Assist in managing deal administration and contract documentation
- Assist in portfolio exposure management
- Support the lead underwriter responsible for financial risks and property portfolios
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or similar
- 5 years of experience working in the financial services industry
- Must be strong in Microsoft Office Suite
- Reinsurance experience highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills and able to work well under tight deadlines
- Must have a high attention to detail
