Restaurant Floor Manager

SteppingStones is actively recruiting a Restaurant Floor Manager for a high-end hotel here in the Cayman Islands. As RFM you will manage the day to day operations of the restaurant including the management of staff, costs and ensuring high standards are maintained across the floor.  
  
Duties;

  • Create and maintain a welcoming and relaxing environment, with an excellent team, dedicated to an attentive, distinctive food and beverage experience
  • Recruitment of new staff – hire, train, supervise and coach staff members
  • Identify areas for improvement in relation to the service and find ways to correct them
  • Control and maximize seating of the restaurant as well as controlling the usage of all food and beverage items
  • Preparing staff schedules
  • Manage all inventories directly involved with the operation of Food and Beverage

  
Requirements;

  • 5+ years food and beverage experience ideally restaurant management 
  • Expert knowledge of Wine & Spirits
  • Understanding of MICROS
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Must be able to multitask
